3" Bottom Drain for Koi Pond Circulation and Debris Removal

The EasyPro BD1 is a 3" bottom drain designed to increase circulation and debris removal efficiency in koi ponds and water gardens. Installed flush with the pond floor, it draws settled debris and waste toward the drain for removal through connected filtration, keeping the pond bottom clean without manual vacuuming.

Watertight Liner Penetration with Dual Gaskets

A dual rubber gasket system and six stainless steel screws create a watertight seal through the pond liner, preventing water loss at the drain penetration point. The bottom drain improves water circulation by drawing from the lowest point in the pond, where fine particulates and organic waste naturally accumulate. Compatible with standard 3" pond plumbing fittings for connection to an external filter, pump vault, or gravity-fed filter system.

How to Install

Position the drain at the lowest point of the pond floor before installing the liner. Cut a hole in the liner to match the drain body, sandwich the liner between the two drain flanges, and secure with the six stainless steel screws. Tighten evenly to compress both rubber gaskets for a watertight seal. Connect 3" pipe to the outlet and route to your pump or filter system.
