API Melafix is an All natural treatment for bacterial infections.
Melafix is designed to ease the transition of fish from store to home by reducing the risk of your fish developing diseases. If the store brought fish already carry a disease it can be difficult to spot. If an infected fish is introduced into a new aquarium there is a high risk of contaminating the other fish.
Melafix is an all natural treatment that will treat and protect against bacterial infections, heal open wounds and abrasions and treats tail rot, eye cloud and mouth fungus. The treatment also promotes the re growth of damaged fin rays and tissue.
The treatment is safe for reef aquariums and live plants and will not effect the biological filter, alter the pH or discolour water. Melafix can be used in fresh or salt water aquariums.
Specifications
Treats: 5ml treats 38 litres of water
Directions:
Shake well. Remove activated carbon if possible.
Add 5ml per 38 litres of aquarium water.
Disease or wound treatment: Dose daily for 7 days. After 7 days, make a 25% water change. Continue treatment, if necessary.
Adding new fish: Dose daily for 3 days.
