Add Underground Water Storage to Your Pondless Waterfall System

The Aquascape AquaBlox Panel B (36.8 cm x 40.6 cm / 14.5 in x 16 in) is a modular plastic grid panel used to construct underground water storage reservoirs for pondless waterfalls, disappearing fountains, and rainwater harvesting systems. Multiple panels are combined to achieve the required water volume without excavating an oversized basin.

Flexible, Lightweight Underground Water Reservoir Construction

AquaBlox panels stack and interconnect to form a structural void that holds water while supporting the weight of surrounding soil and stone. The open lattice design allows water to flow freely in all directions within the assembled block matrix while maintaining structural integrity under compaction loads. Unlike solid-wall basins, the modular system adapts to irregular excavation shapes and can be expanded by adding panels to suit any required pond volume.

How to Use

Excavate the reservoir area to the required depth. Line the excavation with geotextile fabric, then an EPDM pond liner. Stack AquaBlox Panel B units to the desired height, interlocking rows as directed in the Aquascape installation guide. Position the submersible pump in the centre of the block matrix and feed the power cord and plumbing through the liner before backfilling. Fold the liner over the top of the assembled blocks and cover with decorative stone or the AquaBasin lid.

Ideal for pondless waterfall, bubbling boulder, and disappearing fountain installations where a concealed underground water reservoir is needed beneath an established or new landscape.
