The Aquascape EcoWave 2000 is a mag-drive submersible pond and waterfall pump rated at 2,020 GPH (7,646 LPH) and drawing only 65 watts. Magnetic Drive Technology for Quiet, Energy-Efficient Circulation

In a conventional pump, the motor shaft extends through a mechanical seal directly into the water chamber, requiring oil lubrication and creating friction losses. The EcoWave's mag-drive design has no shaft penetration; instead, the impeller is magnetically coupled to the motor and floats frictionlessly in the water chamber. This eliminates the most common failure point in pond pumps, reduces heat generation, and keeps power consumption low across the full operating season.

How to Use

Install the EcoWave 2000 in the pond skimmer intake or directly on the pond floor, submerged fully. Connect the 5 cm (2-inch) MPT discharge to the waterfall or biological filter using a matched elbow or barbed fitting and flexible pipe or tubing. Plug the 6 m (20 ft) cord into a GFCI-protected outdoor outlet. For ponds with waterfall heights above 2.5 m (8 ft), evaluate whether a higher-head pump is required for the specific installation. Clean the intake screen every two to four weeks. Remove and store indoors if the pond freezes solid in winter.
