Quiet Mag-Drive Power for Ponds and Waterfalls Up to 11,000 Litres

The Aquascape EcoWave 3000 is a mag-drive submersible pond and waterfall pump rated at 2,960 GPH (11,204 LPH) and consuming 90 watts. Designed for mid-to-large water gardens and waterfall systems, the EcoWave 3000 provides high circulation capacity at unusually low power draw through its magnetic drive motor, which eliminates the oil shaft seal and mechanical friction of conventional pump designs.

Mid-Range Volume at Low Operating Cost

A conventionally wound motor pump at similar flow rates typically consumes 150 to 200 watts for the same output. The EcoWave 3000's 90-watt draw produces meaningful energy savings over a full operating season, especially in pond installations that run the pump 24 hours a day from spring through autumn. The mag-drive design also produces less heat than conventional pumps, extending component life in warm summer conditions when motor temperature is a stress factor.

How to Use

Install the EcoWave 3000 fully submerged in the pond skimmer or on the pond floor. Connect the 2-inch MPT discharge to the waterfall or filter inlet plumbing. Plug into a GFCI-protected outdoor outlet. For best performance in waterfall applications, keep the total head height including pipe friction losses within the pump's rated head curve for the desired flow rate. Clean the intake screen every two to four weeks during the main operating season. In climates with hard winter freezes, remove and store the pump indoors.

Ideal for water gardens and koi ponds between 7,500 and 11,000 litres (2,000 to 3,000 gal) with moderate waterfall heights, where a balance of high flow, low power consumption, and quiet operation is required.
