The Aquascape Ext Pump Plumbing Kit is a factory fitting set for connecting the Aquascape Ext 12000 or Ext 18000 external pond pump to pond plumbing runs. It includes the fittings needed for both inlet and discharge connections, providing a complete set of matched hardware for new pump installations without requiring individual fitting selection from general plumbing suppliers.

All Fittings for a Complete Ext Pump Plumbing Connection

Unlike the 3-inch kit which addresses inlet connections only, the full Plumbing Kit provides hardware for both the suction and discharge sides of the pump. For new installations, having a complete matched kit eliminates the risk of selecting incorrect thread types or inadequate pressure ratings for the discharge side, where operating pressure is at its highest in the system. All fittings in the kit are sized and rated for the Ext pump's operating conditions.

How to Use

Review the Ext pump installation manual and identify the fitting sequence for your specific site layout before beginning. Apply PTFE thread tape to all male NPT threads. Support plumbing runs near the pump to prevent mechanical stress on the pump housing from pipe weight or thermal expansion. Test all connections with the pump running at pressure before covering any buried sections. Inspect fittings annually for UV degradation if exposed sections are above ground.
