How to Use
Remove the spent mat and rinse the filter basket. Insert the new mat into the basket and confirm it seats flat. Rinse the mat weekly during the active season to clear captured debris. Replace when the mat no longer recovers normal flow after rinsing.
A clogged mat reduces pump intake flow, which forces the impeller to work harder and accelerates wear. Replacing the mat when it can no longer be cleaned to full flow costs far less than replacing the pump. Keep a spare on hand so you can swap it without ordering delays mid-season.
