Replacement Media Net for 40" Round Fountain Bowls
The 40" diameter Fountain Bowl Media Net is sized for Aquascape's largest standard round fountain bowls, holding bio-media in the water column for continuous biological filtration. At 40" across, these bowls move more water volume than smaller sizes, and this net scales to match by holding a proportionally larger bio-media charge.
How It Works
The mesh net suspends bio-media in the pump's intake flow so that every cycle of water passes through a colonized surface. Beneficial bacteria on the media convert ammonia and organic compounds into less harmful forms, reducing the frequency of water changes and keeping the bowl water clear through peak summer heat.

How to Use
Fill the net with bio-media, secure the opening, and position it below the pump inside the bowl. For a 40" bowl, a generous media charge gives more biological surface area. Rinse in pond water (not tap) every 4 to 6 weeks. Replace the net when the mesh begins to deteriorate or after several seasons of use.
Ideal for 40" round fountain bowls in larger patio or garden settings where water volume and warm-weather algae pressure are higher than in smaller installations.
