The Aquascape Heavy-Duty Pond Underlayment 7.5' x 7.5' (2.3 m x 2.3 m) provides a near-square piece suited for compact square or round pond profiles, hot tub conversions, or raised pond beds where a rectangular piece would leave excessive overhang on two sides.

Square Format for Square Pond Profiles

Most pond underlayment is cut from rectangular rolls, meaning a 7.5' x 7.5' square pond needs a larger piece trimmed down, wasting material. The 7.5' square cut eliminates that waste for pond shapes that fit the format. Non-woven geotextile construction provides the same point-puncture resistance and root-barrier protection as the larger pieces in the range, at the scale of a compact feature.

How to Use

Prepare the excavation by removing sharp rocks and root protrusions. Lay the underlayment over the prepared substrate, conforming it into corners and contours. Place EPDM liner on top and fill to seat both layers. Trim excess underlayment at the pond edge after the liner is in place and backfilling is complete.

Ideal for compact square and round pond builds, container pond upgrades, and raised ornamental water features where a near-square piece closely matches the project footprint.
