Aquascape Prevent for Fountains SL stops algae and scale from building up in decorative fountains before they require scrubbing. The 32 oz (946 mL) bottle is sized for smaller fountains or for seasonal use, treating the water at regular intervals to keep surfaces clean and water clear without shutting the feature down for manual cleaning.
What It Does
Prevent works on two fronts: it inhibits the algae growth that turns water green and coats fountain surfaces, and it controls mineral scale deposits that form when hard water evaporates on pump housings, spitter faces, and basin walls. Regular preventive dosing is faster than reactive cleaning once algae or scale has already established.

How to Use
Shake well before use. Add the recommended dose directly to fountain water with the pump running to distribute the treatment. Apply weekly during peak algae season (summer) or bi-weekly in cooler months. Increase frequency if algae growth appears between treatments. Not intended for ponds containing fish or plants.
