The Aquascape Ultra 400 Water Pump G3 Front Cover Kit is the OEM replacement front cover for the Ultra 400 G3 series submersible pump. The front cover houses the intake screen and protects the impeller. Replace when the cover cracks, breaks, or the intake screen becomes too damaged to clean effectively.
Restore Intake Protection on the Ultra 400
A cracked or broken front cover allows debris to bypass the intake screen and reach the impeller, causing rapid wear and flow reduction. Replacing the cover as soon as damage is visible prevents secondary impeller damage that would require a more expensive repair. The kit includes all components needed to complete the front cover replacement without sourcing separate hardware.

How to Use
Remove the pump from the pond and unplug. Unclip the existing front cover by pressing the retaining tabs and pulling it free. Snap the replacement cover firmly until both retaining tabs engage. Reinstall the pump and confirm normal flow. Inspect the front cover for debris accumulation every 4 to 6 weeks during the season.
