The PerformancePro ArtesianPro AP1.6-HF-DAF Dial-A-Flow Pump combines high-flow performance, energy-efficient variable-speed operation and true self-priming capability in a rugged external pond pump. Designed for large ponds, waterfalls, filtration systems, koi ponds and other demanding water-circulation applications, the ArtesianPro allows you to precisely adjust pump output to match the needs of your system.

Unlike a conventional single-speed pump that operates at full output whenever it is running, the Dial-A-Flow variable-speed controller allows the pump speed and flow to be adjusted as required. This provides greater control over waterfalls and filtration systems while allowing the pump to operate at reduced speeds when maximum flow isn't necessary, potentially reducing both energy consumption and operating noise.

The self-priming design makes the AP1.6-HF-DAF an excellent choice for installations where the pump needs to be positioned above the pond's water level. An integrated oversized strainer basket helps protect the pump from leaves and larger debris, while the transparent easy-open lid allows for quick visual inspection and convenient maintenance.

Designed specifically for high-volume water movement, the ArtesianPro features 3" suction and discharge connections, helping reduce plumbing restriction on large-flow systems. 3" union fittings are included for easier installation and servicing.
