Placed floating on the basin water surface, it absorbs and dampens the kinetic energy of returning fountain streams — sphere fountains, wall spouts, and urn displays — preventing water from bouncing out of the basin and reducing evaporative water loss due to surface agitation. This is one of the most practical maintenance accessories for any CFBasin24 installation where ongoing top-ups are a nuisance.
