The CFBasin36's larger diameter makes the full-coverage pre-cut mat particularly valuable versus attempting to fit a cut-down section from the roll format.

In a larger basin like the CFBasin36, the returning water stream from a 30-inch sphere or multiple fountain outlets has more kinetic energy and a wider splash zone than in a compact basin. Without a mat, a significant area of the basin perimeter can receive continuous light splash, slowly moving water out of the recirculating system. Installation
