Designed for continuous-duty operation, this system delivers reliable air supply to one diffuser line year-round, making it the foundation of a permanent aeration solution for small koi ponds and water gardens across Canada.
Commercial Gast Compressor, Built for Outdoor Life
The Gast compressor inside this cabinet is rated for continuous duty — unlike hardware-store air compressors that are duty-cycle limited and overheat in sustained use. The weatherproof cabinet protects the compressor motor from rain, UV exposure, and Canadian winter temperatures, extending service life dramatically compared to an unhoused air pump. A single outlet configuration suits ponds up to approximately 10,000–15,000 L (2,600–4,000 gal) with moderate fish loads.

How to Use
Mount the cabinet at least 30 cm (12 inches) above the pond waterline in a shaded, accessible location. Connect 3/8-inch weighted airline tubing from the outlet to your chosen diffuser. For ponds deeper than 1 metre (3 feet), use a deep-water diffuser positioned at the pond bottom for best destratification results. Plug into a GFCI-protected outdoor outlet. Check the diaphragm annually and replace the compressor filter every 6–12 months.
Ideal for small to medium Canadian koi ponds requiring reliable outdoor aeration without the need for multiple zones.
