Magnetically Driven, Minimal Maintenance
The MD-series design eliminates shaft seals entirely, so the only routine replacement part is the impeller assembly itself. This includes the ceramic shaft, impeller blade, and magnet core matched and balanced as a unit. When replacing, always use the genuine OEM assembly — impellers from different models may appear similar but have different magnet strength ratings that affect rotor coupling and efficiency on the MD1250 motor.

How to Replace
Remove the MD1250 from service and unplug it. Open the front housing by rotating counter-clockwise. Pull out the old impeller assembly and inspect the bearing pin and cup in the housing. Install the new assembly and confirm it spins freely. Reassemble and return to service. Inspect at spring startup each year and replace if noise or flow issues appear.
