Keeping the intake clean and undamaged is essential — a clogged or cracked intake screen is the leading cause of reduced flow and premature motor wear on submersible waterfall pumps.
Protect the Impeller from Debris
The TT1500 intake screen filters out leaves, gravel, and pond debris before they reach the impeller. Over one or two seasons, screens can crack from freeze-thaw cycling, warp from UV exposure, or become irremovably fouled with algae and mineral scale. This genuine replacement kit restores the factory intake geometry, ensuring the TT1500 draws water efficiently without starving the impeller.

How to Install
Remove the TT1500 from the pond and unplug it. Twist off the worn intake screen assembly and snap the new kit into place. Ensure all clips are fully seated before returning the pump to service. Inspect the intake screen at every spring startup and whenever flow drops unexpectedly.
