Essential Pump Housing Part
The Atlantic Water Gardens intake cover and volute adapter fits the TidalWave3 TT1500, TT2000, and TT3000 waterfall and stream pumps. This assembly forms the front housing that covers the impeller chamber and directs water flow through the pump's outlet. A cracked or damaged volute immediately reduces flow and can cause the impeller to cavitate.
One Part, Three Models
The TT1500, TT2000, and TT3000 share the same front housing design, making this adapter a practical stocking part for contractors running multiple pump sizes on a single installation. The volute's internal geometry is precisely shaped to convert impeller rotational velocity into directional flow — even a minor crack in the scroll housing disrupts this hydraulic conversion and reduces pump efficiency significantly.

How to Replace
Remove the pump from the pond and disconnect power. Twist the old volute cover counter-clockwise to release it from the motor housing. Remove the impeller for inspection while you have the pump open. Install the new volute adapter by aligning the tabs and rotating clockwise until it locks. Reinstall the impeller and return the pump to service. Check the connection points for any seepage after restarting.
