UV Clarifier Plumbing Fittings
The Atlantic Water Gardens Vitronic 18/36 connection kit provides the plumbing fittings for installing or replumbing an Oase Vitronic 18W or 36W UV clarifier into an existing pond filter circuit. The Vitronic series is an in-line UV clarifier designed to be installed in the return line between the pump and waterfall or filter — the connection kit provides the correct union fittings for leak-free installation in a pressurised line.
Precision Fittings for UV Inline Installation
Inline UV clarifiers like the Vitronic must be installed in a continuous, sealed plumbing circuit — unlike gravity-fed UV units that can tolerate some seepage. The connection kit provides union fittings with compression-rated seats appropriate for the Vitronic's operating pressure range. Unions also allow the UV head to be removed for bulb replacement without cutting or draining the entire plumbing circuit — an important practical consideration for annual UV lamp service in a permanent pond installation.

How to Use
Install the Vitronic UV clarifier in the return line between the pump and waterfall/filter outlet using these fittings. Follow the Vitronic installation guide for flow direction and mounting orientation. Use PTFE tape on threaded connections and test all joints under operating pressure. The union design allows the UV head to be separated from the plumbing for bulb replacement without disturbing the circuit connections.
