Atlas Cyclelift XLT 1,000 lb. Air-Operated Motorcycle and ATV Lift

Long bikes are the problem this lift solves first. A touring machine or a stretched cruiser will hang off the end of an ordinary table, and once the rear wheel is unsupported nothing else about the lift matters. The Cyclelift XLT starts from a 93" platform as standard - before any extension is fitted - and then adds a side extension kit that widens the deck to 48". Length first, width second: that order is what separates this from the shorter lift in the same family, and it is why one machine can carry a dresser on Monday and a side-by-side on Tuesday.

The extension kit, and what it is really for

Supplied in the box are two 12" side extensions and two 12" ramp extensions. Widening the deck without widening the approach ramp would be pointless, so both go on together and a four-wheeled machine drives up the same way a bike does. At full width the platform accepts ATVs, UTVs, golf carts and lawnmowers; take the extensions off and it reverts to a bike table with the same 93" of usable length. Nothing about the conversion is permanent, and nothing about it requires a second purchase later.

The stabilizing bar is standard, not extra

The Cyclelift XLT includes its stabilizing bar at no extra charge. The bar widens the effective footprint of the raised platform, which is what resists the sideways nudge that a technician leaning on a raised machine inevitably applies. It is a component that is easy to leave out of a package to make a price look better, and if you are comparing lift packages it is worth checking line by line who includes one. A 19 1/2" removable plate at the rear of the deck gives access to the back wheel, and a padded front wheel vise holds the front end upright while you work.

Air operated, foot controlled

Raising and lowering are air operated from a foot pedal and need an external supply, which is not included; the published requirement is 90-100 PSI. There is no electrical connection. The practical benefit of a pedal is that both hands stay free during the least stable part of the job - the first few inches, before a bike has settled into the vise. Full lift height is 33" (2' 9"), and the deck lowers to 7 1/4" so that even a low machine can be walked on rather than lifted.

Will it fit your space?

The measurement people get wrong here is length, not height. The table alone is 93" (7' 9"); with the 20" removable approach ramp in place, the footprint runs to 113" (9' 5"), and you need clear floor beyond that for the run-up. Width at full extension is 48" (4'), plus walking space on both sides if you intend to work from either. The lift is not anchored down and a wheeled dolly is included so one person can reposition it on a level floor, which is what makes a machine this long practical in a garage that also has to hold a car. Confirming floor space, air supply and the delivery route for a 700 lbs. crate is the customer's responsibility.

We hold no record of an independent third-party safety listing for this lift, and we would rather write that plainly than leave it to be assumed. For most buyers it never arises. It arises for franchised dealerships, for shops working under an insurance schedule that names listed lifting equipment, and occasionally for a local inspection regime. If any of those apply, ask the party imposing the requirement for it in writing, then speak to us before you order - we will supply whatever documentation the manufacturer actually publishes for this model.

Shipping and Delivery

Freight within the lower 48 states, 700 lbs. crated. Plan on a forklift or a loading dock, or select terminal pickup; collection is also available from the Atlas warehouse locations listed further down this page. Residential delivery is possible for a fee. The freight itself is priced live at checkout rather than quoted here, since carrier rates move.

Do the inspection before signing, not after. This lift arrives as more than one package once the extension kit is counted, so check the piece count first, then look for crush damage and shifted strapping, and write anything you find on the bill of lading in front of the driver. A clean signature ends the conversation in the carrier's favour.

Coverage is 1 yr Parts Only - the covered component is supplied, fitting labor is not included.

Speak to us before taking anything apart. An air or hydraulic component that has already been opened cannot be evaluated, and doing so before a claim is filed is the most reliable way to lose one. Photographs first, disassembly later.
