Description
A battery table that runs on its own battery
The EVS3000 is a mobile scissor lift table for dropping and refitting electric-vehicle battery packs, powertrain assemblies, fuel tanks and subframes — and the detail that shapes everything else is that it runs on an onboard DC electric system with onboard charging. No trailing extension lead, no shop-air line, nothing tethering it to one bay. Charge it overnight, wheel it to the car, and the job happens wherever the car happens to be.
That matters more than it sounds in a multi-bay workshop, because a battery pack is not something you carry to the equipment. Rated at 3,000 lbs. / 1,361 kg and rising to more than 6 feet in under twenty seconds, this is a table that gets to the work rather than the other way round.
Alignment, not just lifting
Holding a battery pack up is the easy half. Getting it back on is a matter of matching a large, heavy, awkward object to a set of mounting points that will not tolerate being close enough. The EVS3000 answers that with a screw-jack system giving roll, pitch and yaw adjustment at the deck, with a published maximum adjustment of 1.5 in. / 38 mm. That is the difference between one technician calmly winding the deck into line and two technicians shoving a pack around on a flat table.
The deck surface itself carries multiple recessed anchoring locations, so modular fixtures, adapters and accessories can be bolted where a particular vehicle needs them and moved or removed for the next one. It is designed as a platform for fixtures rather than as a plain steel top.
Two figures for the deck, and we are not choosing between them
Deck size is what decides whether a given pack sits safely on this table, so it is worth stating precisely — and our two sources describe it differently.
| Source | Platform / deck size |
|---|---|
| The product copy currently on this page | 40′′ x 60′′ lift platform |
| BendPak published specification sheet | Top deck 63 in. / 1,600 mm long x 42.75 in. / 1,088 mm wide |
Those are not the same rectangle, and the marketing figure is written with prime marks rather than a stated unit, so it is not self-explaining either. We cannot reconcile the two from what we hold. If deck size decides whether this table suits the packs you work on, ask us to confirm it in writing before you order and we will get the dimension from the manufacturer instead of publishing whichever number reads better. The overall footprint of the machine — 91.25 in. / 2,318 mm long and 53 in / 1,348 mm wide including the handles — is not in dispute and is the figure to plan floor space around.
Will It Fit?
- Footprint. 91.25 in. / 2,318 mm long by 53 in / 1,348 mm wide including the handles.
- Height range. Minimum deck height 34.25 in. / 868 mm, maximum rise 77.75 in. / 1,972 mm. The minimum matters as much as the maximum: it is the height the deck sits at when you roll it under a car already up on a lift.
- Steering handle. 39.25 in. / 997 mm from the floor — check it against benches and doorways on the route it will actually travel.
- Charging point. The charger takes 120 VAC, 60 Hz. You need one ordinary outlet somewhere sensible, not a dedicated circuit at the workstation.
- Floor. This machine is wheeled around your shop under load. Broken concrete, a lip at a doorway or a drainage channel is a real obstacle for a laden table, and that is worth walking before delivery.
Confirming clearances, floor condition and the charging point is the buyer's responsibility. Our record states no floor-loading requirement; if that matters for a mezzanine or a suspended slab, ask us before you order.
Casters that turn on the spot
Zero-throw casters let the table change direction without swinging out first, which is what ordinary swivel casters do — they need room to castor round before they will track, and in a tight bay that room does not exist. Turning in place takes a fraction of the effort and keeps a laden table away from the paintwork either side of it. For longer moves a locking pin on the front tri-casters converts them to a fixed orientation so the table tracks straight, and there is a stowable tow bar and manual floor locks to park it.
Structure, cylinders and the fail-safe
The frame is high-tensile steel throughout, which here is a weight decision rather than a strength boast: a mobile table too heavy to push comfortably is a table nobody moves. The upper deck plate carries additional structural cross-members to resist deflection under torsion or an unevenly placed load — and a battery pack is very often an unevenly placed load.
Lifting is by twin hydraulic cylinders of welded construction with chrome-plated rods and polished bores for seal life, working at 1250 PSI at maximum load. A hydraulic fail-safe circuit and multi-point safety locks back them up, and the pendant control means the operator stands where they can see the load.
Perfect For
- Dealership and franchise EV service departments handling pack removal as routine warranty and recall work.
- Independent shops taking on EV work that need one machine to serve every bay rather than one per bay.
- Powertrain and driveline work generally — engines, gearboxes, subframes and fuel tanks, not only battery packs.
- Confined or shared workshops, where the zero-throw casters and the compact footprint decide whether the machine is usable at all.
What's in the Box
From this model's own feature list: the scissor lift table with its recessed-anchoring top deck, twin hydraulic cylinders, the adjustable screw jack, multi-point safety locks, the hydraulic fail-safe circuit, the DC electric power system with onboard charging, remote control operation, full-length utility trays, zero-throw casters with the tri-caster locking pin, manual floor locks and a stowable tow bar. Modular fixtures and adapters are accessories — the deck is drilled to take them, but which ones you need depends on the vehicles you service, so raise that at order time.

Certification, stated honestly
Our record for this table carries no third-party safety listing, and we are not going to write around that. It describes the documents we hold, not the engineering.
An independent North American lifting-equipment safety listing means an outside body has examined the design and listed the product; a manufacturer's own conformity declaration is a different thing and does not replace it. Some insurers, fleet policies and local code officials require the independent kind, particularly where employees work under a raised load. If that is a condition for you, ask us in writing before you order.
Shipping and delivery
Freight only, to the lower 48 states, priced live at checkout for your own address — which is why no shipping figure appears on this page.
Delivery is kerbside. Arrange unloading first: a forklift and an operator on site, or collection from the freight terminal, which for a crate this size is often the easier route. Warehouse pickup can be arranged for this brand from our BendPak locations, and a residential address carries a residential fee — call us to set it up. Inspect the shipment before you sign and write any damage onto the bill of lading at the time — a clean signature makes a later claim very hard to win.
Warranty
The manufacturer's warranty document is linked on this page; read the term and the exclusions there rather than any summary of them. Whatever the terms, never dismantle a component you intend to claim on — photograph the fault, leave it assembled and contact us first. A stripped part is the usual reason a sound claim is refused.
