Two stage compression and cooling between stages

Compressing air in one go makes it hot, and hot air carries moisture and thins the oil film that keeps the pump alive. This pump does the job in two bites. Air is partly compressed in the first cylinder, passed through a finned intercooler to shed heat, then finished in a smaller second cylinder. You get cooler discharge air, less water carried into the receiver, and a pump that is not fighting its own heat all day.

High flow disc valves let the cylinders breathe rather than throttling themselves at the top of the range. This ships by freight truck inside the contiguous United States. At about 1,305 lbs crated it is well beyond parcel service, and it ships free of charge.

Two practicalities. First, unloading is the customer's responsibility: have a forklift with headroom over the shipping weight standing by, or take terminal pickup and collect it yourself. Second, a delivery to a residential address carries a residential fee, which the quote at checkout will show you before you pay. When the driver arrives, inspect the pallet before signing. Bent tank feet, a cracked belt guard, torn shrink wrap and oil on the deck are the things to look for, and anything you find goes on the bill of lading in writing, with photographs. A clean signature is treated as confirmation the machine arrived intact.
