Bio: In 2021, my wife and I retired to Saranac Lake, NY, close to the historic Lake Placid. Our new home included an ideal space for the woodworking shop I had always dreamed of. My fascination with lasers started in fall 2022, leading me to extensive research and eventually to OMTech, despite having no prior experience with lasers. In January 2023, I purchased an 80W AF2028 OMTech CO2 laser and a 30W Fiber laser. I primarily use the lasers for hobby projects and local sales, but also for crafting gifts for family and friends. I became a Demo Host to provide the kind of support I wished I had when I was starting out.
