The formula then dries to a brittle powder so that it and the trapped soils can be easily vacuumed away, instead of sticking to the carpet fibers and attracting other dirt. This is commonly know as encapsulation cleaning, as the dried powder \"encapsulates\" the dirt for later removal by vacuuming.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e This is an excellent wetting neutral carpet and upholstery detergent that is free of alkalis and soap.
