The Dri-Eaz Vortex axial fan is one of our top axial fans, designed to provide powerful airflow for ventilation, air circulation, extraction, and drying of wet materials or structural areas. Its focused airflow makes it highly effective in demanding drying environments. When setting up the Vortex, check the airflow direction arrow on the housing to ensure proper operation. This unit is suitable for both positive (blowing air in) and negative (pulling air out) airflow applications. Before plugging in, always inspect the inlet and outlet screens and clear any debris that could obstruct airflow.

This fan excels in confined spaces when paired with the separately sold 25-foot ducting. For best results, position the fan at least five feet from the entry point and place it upwind to avoid reintroducing purged air or gases. Ensure the air inlet is clear of walls or obstacles. Direct the ducting into the confined area so that it points toward an end wall. This helps prevent stagnant air pockets and keeps fresh air moving throughout the space.
