The Garden Gate J Lock and Latch is a high-quality locking solution designed for timber courtyard gates and heavy framed garden gates. Suitable for both single and double-leaf timber gates, this lock combines a stainless steel mechanism with an adjustable self-latching bolt to provide secure and reliable gate operation.
The lock features a 100% stainless steel insert mechanism with a 60mm backset. Its adjustable self-latching bolt can be configured for either left- or right-hand operation, providing flexibility during installation.
For enhanced security, the stainless steel hook functions as a dead bolt for night locking and provides a 33mm throw. The lock is key-operated, offering convenient and secure access control for garden and courtyard gates.
The stainless steel construction includes the mechanism, hook, front plate and latch bolt, providing excellent durability for outdoor gate applications. The centre distance between the cylinder and handle is 92mm, while the backset is 60mm from the edge of the gate to the centre line of the handle.
