The Hedgehog Gravel Board for Use with Slotted Posts – 1.83m is a wildlife-friendly timber gravel board designed for use with slotted fence posts, including Jakposts®. It provides the practical benefits of a traditional gravel board while creating a dedicated passage for hedgehogs and other garden wildlife to move freely between neighbouring gardens.

The hedgehog-friendly design helps wildlife move between gardens in search of food and mates, addressing the issue that solid garden boundaries can create for hedgehog populations. We recommend installing a hedgehog gravel board on each side of your garden to provide a continuous route between gardens wherever possible.

Where possible, cutting, drilling or notching timber that will be installed in-ground should be avoided in accordance with the 25-year Jakcure® terms and conditions. If occasional sections need to be cut, Cut Treatment should be applied liberally to the exposed timber.
