Description
The Lotus Clear Pond 80 Pond Filter offers advanced 7 stage filtration, a high powered 80w UVC and a quick action De-sludge system to aid filter maintenance. The integral high powered 80w UVC built into the lid of the Clear Pond Filter ensures green water elimination.
The Lotus Clear Pond Filter Systems benefit from a multi chamber design which incorporates filter brushes to catch heavy solids. The pond water then passes through a foam filter cartridge and a multi layered foam set before passing through plastic bio balls on its return to the pond. These later stages provide both mechanical and biological filtration; removing further solids and acting as a home for beneficial bacteria, which break down harmful toxins.
The built in De-sludge system provides a simple way to remove silt and sludge build up from the base of the Clear Pond filter tank.
These filters have a Top In - Top Out system which allows the filter box to be partly buried.
