The Oase Bitron C 18–24 quartz glass (part 26041) is the precision-cut tube that separates the UV lamp from the water flow inside your Bitron UVC clarifier. Quartz glass transmits ultraviolet light far more efficiently than standard glass, but over time it clouds from mineral deposits and biological film — reducing UV penetration and allowing algae to survive.
Maintains UV Effectiveness
A clouded quartz sleeve can reduce UV transmission by over 40 %, which means algae spores and harmful pathogens pass through the clarifier alive. Replacing the sleeve — especially when you install a new UV bulb — ensures maximum light reaches the water and keeps green water under control.

Installation
Disconnect the clarifier from power. Remove the end cap and slide out the old quartz sleeve. Clean the sleeve seat of any mineral residue, then carefully insert the new sleeve without touching the glass surface with bare hands — oils reduce UV transmission. Reinstall the UV lamp, seal the end cap, and restore power.
Ideal for replacing annually alongside the UV bulb during spring startup of your Bitron C clarifier.
