The Oase FiltoClear G1 4000 mesh tube (part 26595) provides coarse mechanical filtration by trapping leaves, debris, and suspended particles before they reach the foam stages. A torn or heavily scaled mesh allows debris to pass through, increasing the load on downstream media and reducing water clarity.
Protects Downstream Foam Media
The mesh tube is the first barrier in the FiltoClear G1 4000 filtration sequence. By capturing large particles up front, it extends the service life of the finer foam media. The G1 4000 tube is longer than the 3000 version to match the larger filter chamber — always order the correct part number for your model.

Installation
Open the filter, remove the old mesh tube, and insert the replacement until it clicks into the mounting grooves. Reassemble and pressurise. Replace the tube when the mesh is torn, permanently clogged, or when you notice reduced water flow that cleaning does not resolve.
