The PondMax Replacement Schedule 40 Connector provides a 1 1/2 inch plumbing connection point on PondMax PF1200 and PF3600 pressure filters. This fitting links the filter to rigid PVC or flexible hose runs and is a common point of wear where seasonal plumbing is disconnected and reconnected each spring and fall.
A Direct, Code-Rated Plumbing Match
Schedule 40 PVC connectors are the industry standard for pressurized pond plumbing because their wall thickness holds up to the operating pressure inside a pressure filter without swelling or splitting. Repeated seasonal disconnection for winterizing, combined with UV exposure over the summer, eventually cracks the threads or the solvent-weld hub. How to Use
Drain the filter and cut or unscrew the damaged connector from the filter port. Clean the mating surface and dry-fit the replacement before applying PVC primer and cement for a solvent-weld connection, or thread sealant if the port is threaded.
