If they come into contact with light sources such as ceramic heaters or spot lamps then this can result in severe burns, which is why it is extremely important to have a heater guard in place.
The ProRep Heater Guards fulfil this important criteria, offering superb protection for reptiles and other inhabitants from potential burns from spot lamps or ceramic heaters. The simple, lightweight design of the Heater Guards also allows for maximum light penetration due to their thin but strong powder coated steel mesh construction.
ProRep Heater Guards also feature a unique hinged panel with double security fasteners that allows easy access to lamps without the need to remove the fixture. The guards have four mounting brackets and a cut-out for cable entry to enable flush mounting to the roof of wooden vivaria.
