It is a complete assembly that includes the full head, vac motor, power cord, seal plate and the float ball assembly.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e We recommend using a defoaming solution with the 'Quench' whenever recovering any type of liquid in volume. Before each use, you'll want to make sure the float assembly is free and clear, and can move up and down easily. If it does not work properly, it can allow foam through the seal plate and into the vac motor causing it to fail. If the float assembly becomes stuck open, the vac motor can heat up and weld the seal plate to the bottom of the vac motor.
