For wood that is in contact with the ground, a suitable wood preserver should be used to ensure maximum protection.
Ronseal's One Coat Fence Life offers impressive coverage, decorating and protecting up to 6m² per litre per coat. A 5-litre container should be sufficient to treat six fence panel sides with one coat, depending on the absorbency of the wood.
