Most shops that outgrow a piston compressor discover the same thing: the machine they need does not fit where the old one stood. The SRP 4030E is built to avoid that. It is a 2-In-1 package — the rotary air end, the motor and the ASME-stamped receiver are assembled as a single tank-mounted unit, so the entire compressor room is one skid rather than a compressor, a separate receiver and the pipework between them.

What that skid delivers is 117 CFM at 125 PSI, all day, at a 100% duty cycle. This is the largest air end in the 120-gallon family and it is wired here for a 460V, 3-phase supply.

What the 2-In-1 layout saves you

The saving is not only floor area, although a tank-mounted machine occupying the space of a receiver alone is the visible part. The less obvious saving is installation. A separate compressor and receiver must be positioned, levelled, plumbed together and isolated for vibration — every step somebody's labour and somebody's opportunity to get it wrong. Here those decisions are already made.

The receiver is 120 gallons and horizontal, the orientation that keeps the machine low and stable rather than tall in a bay with a lift working next to it. Storage volume is what stops a compressor short-cycling when demand arrives in bursts: the tank buffers the peaks instead of the motor absorbing them.

Why the duty cycle is the number that actually matters

Compressor shopping usually turns into a CFM comparison, and CFM alone is misleading. Our specification data gives the amp draw and the recommended breaker as items to confirm with a certified electrician rather than fixed figures, and we agree with that: the correct feeder and overcurrent protection depend on your run length and local code. Confirming the incoming supply, the disconnect, the breaker and the conductor sizing is the customer's responsibility, and it needs a licensed electrician. The cabinet is stated to operate in ambient temperatures up to 113 °F, but a compressor room still needs ventilation — a machine making heat in a sealed cupboard will find that ceiling quickly.

It is a pressure-vessel certification: it says the tank was designed, built and inspected to the pressure vessel code, which is exactly what you want on a vessel holding 125 PSI in an occupied building, and it is what many jurisdictions and insurers ask about first.
