The Supreme SP-M1500 is described in its own listing as running on a pneumatic, air-powered lifting system — you feed it from the compressor already plumbed into the shop, and there is no motor, no pump wiring and no dedicated circuit to organise. For a busy service bay that is one less thing on the electrical panel. For a home garage it means the lift is only as complicated as the air line you run to it.

The other half of the design worth buying it for is the release. The SP-M1500 uses a dual-side manual safety release, so the operator can drop the lock from whichever side of the bike they are standing on. On a lift holding a 1,500 lbs touring machine at working height, not having to walk around the load to reach one release lever is a genuine handling improvement, not a catalogue line.

At 1,500 lbs it is aimed at the heavy end of two wheels: dressed cruisers, full touring bikes with luggage and a passenger backrest, custom long-fork builds, trikes and ATVs — the machines that make a lighter table nervous.

Will It Fit?

This is a floor-standing table lift, so the questions are bay space, air supply and slab, in that order.

• Floor footprint. The platform measures 77" long by 48" wide, and the lift's overall length is 100.75" — the extra accounts for the approach end. Measure the 100.75" figure, not the platform, when you are deciding whether it clears a workbench or a roller door track.
• Working range. The table sits at 7.50" at its lowest and rises to 33.50". The low figure is what lets a bike be rolled or winched on without a ramp fight; the high figure is roughly bench height, which is the point of the exercise.
• Slab. The listing is specific, and unusually so for this category: the lift must be installed on concrete at least 5.9 inches thick with a minimum compressive strength of 3,000 PSI. If you do not know what your floor is, core it or ask the builder — a table lift that tears its anchors out with a bike on it is not a repairable mistake.
• Air. You need an existing compressed-air supply within reach of the lift. The listing does not state a required pressure or flow, so if your compressor is small, ask us before ordering rather than discovering it at commissioning.
• Working clearance. Leave room to walk both sides. The dual-side release is only an advantage if there is somewhere to stand on both sides.

Why a 1,500 lb rating matters more than it sounds

Motorcycle lift capacities cluster low because most bikes are light. The trouble is that the machines people actually pay to have serviced — a full-dress tourer with hard bags, a trike, a big-bore cruiser, a utility ATV — sit at the top of, or past, a typical table's rating, and a lift used near its limit is a lift that flexes, drifts and makes everyone in the bay nervous. Capacity also buys you stability while the bike is on the table but not on its wheels: front end stripped, forks out, weight thrown rearward and every pound of it on a small patch of deck. A 77" by 48" deck is not simply "big enough for a motorcycle". The width is what gives you somewhere to stand a wheel, lay a fairing panel or keep a tray of fasteners without walking away from the job, and it is what makes the table usable for an ATV rather than only for something with two wheels in line. The manufacturer lists wheel chocks, side extensions and front extensions as available separately, which tells you the deck is designed to be built onto rather than treated as fixed.

The listing also stresses that routine maintenance is easy because the components are accessible. On an air-operated table that is worth something concrete: the parts that wear are reachable without stripping the deck, so a service is a shop job rather than a return-to-manufacturer job.

How this lift is actually powered is described two different ways in our data. The product description calls it a pneumatic air-powered lifting system that integrates with a shop that already has an air compressor. The feature list on the same page calls it smooth hydraulic operation. Those are not the same statement, and although air-over-hydraulic designs exist and would reconcile them, we are not going to assume that on your behalf — assuming is how a customer ends up plumbing air to a lift that wanted a pump, or wiring a pump that wanted air.

A crated table lift is heavier and more awkward than most people picture, and the driver's job ends at the tail of the trailer — you need a forklift, a dock, or the option of collecting from the freight terminal yourself. Residential delivery is available and carries a residential fee.

Check the crate before you sign the bill of lading. Look underneath for weeping fluid, check the deck edges for impact damage and the packaging for forklift punctures, and write anything you find on the paperwork while the driver is still there. Once you sign clean, damage becomes very difficult to claim.
