This Viper 28" PS480 sweeper a Viper made manual push sweeper that offers you a reliable cleaning solution at a low price. This manual sweeper is easy to use and is purely mechanical (no battery, power cord, or motor) which means it is practically a service free device. The lack of motor and battery also means we can offer this sweeper at a fraction of the price of normal battery sweepers. The sweeper is built with the well-known Viper quality incorporated in the compact and rugged design. This sweeper offers you a quick way to pick up dirt and garbage for general cleaning or before using a walk behind floor scrubber.

Operation

  • The brooms are rotated via a belt drive or by a simple two-wheel transmission and will run as long as you can push it or until the 10 gallon hopper fills up.
  • The main broom is adjustable by turning the handle knob. It is driven by a two-wheel transmission, and when the sweeper is pulled back, the broom will stop rotating. To replace the main broom, just unscrew three screws on each side of it.
  • Side broom is belt driven. To increase the tension of the belt, just move the plate, unscrew two screws on the plate, and adjust as needed. To replace the side broom, just unscrew three screws.
