Description
AMGO MC-1200P — the air-driven motorcycle & ATV lift
The P in MC-1200P is the pump. This 1,200 lbs powersports lift is driven by a pneumatic pump running on shop air rather than an electric power unit, which means there is no motor to wire, no electrical enclosure sitting in a bay that gets hosed down, and nothing to trip when the compressor is already running for the impact wrench. If your bay has an air drop, the MC-1200P is the simpler machine; if it does not, its electric sibling is the one to buy, and we would rather tell you that here than after delivery.
The rest is a full-size powersports platform: 43 inches (1090mm) of lift, reached in 23 seconds, from a loading height of just 6 1/8 inches (155mm). Gross weight is 503 lbs, and going without an electric power unit is part of why.
Loading, working, and the gap between them
A powersports lift is judged on two heights and the distance between them. At 6 1/8 inches (155mm) collapsed, a bike is walked up the ramp rather than manhandled onto a platform, and an ATV or mower drives on under its own power. At full extension the platform reaches 43 inches (1090mm) — the specification sheet states it precisely as 42 15/16" — which puts a machine's underside at standing working height instead of kneeling height. The published maximum lock height is 40 7/8", and the small difference between rise and top lock is deliberate: the lift is raised past the lock and set down onto it, so the load rests on steel rather than on hydraulic pressure.
The safety device is AMGO's own patented design and it activates automatically as the platform rises, released by hand when the operator chooses. That ordering matters. An automatic lock is engaged whether or not a busy technician remembers it, and a hand release means it stays engaged until somebody makes a decision. On a lift holding a machine at chest height with a wheel off, those are the two properties you want.
Controlled lowering, not just controlled lifting
Every lift raises well when it is new. The interesting question is how it comes down. The MC-1200P's hydraulic cylinder is paired with a flow restrictor so the descent is metered rather than dropped — a smooth, stable lowering that will not jolt a machine or the person steadying it. The cylinder itself is built with top-quality oil seals, which is the component that decides whether a lift still holds its height after several years of daily cycles, and the place a cheaply built lift saves money where nobody looks.
Will It Fit?
- Platform length: the runway measures 88 9/16", and overall length including the loading ramp is 106 5/16". Measure for the ramp, not just the platform — it is the figure that decides whether the roller door still shuts.
- Collapsed height: 6 1/8 inches (155mm).
- Maximum height: 43 inches (1090mm), top lock 40 7/8".
- Air supply: a compressed air line at the bay. The sheet lists an operating air pressure of 0.6 Mpa.
- Weight: 503 lbs, which is a two-person-and-equipment job to move, not a lift-and-carry.
Space, floor condition and air supply are the buyer's responsibility. Send us your bay dimensions before ordering if you want them checked against these figures — that conversation costs nothing and a freight return costs a great deal.
The platform is built for tie-downs, and that is the point
The working surface is non-skid diamond plate with multiple slots along it for running tightening belts. A motorcycle on a lift is only as stable as what is holding it, and a platform with fixed, purpose-cut belt slots means the straps go where the machine needs them rather than wherever a hook can be found. Combined with the adjustable wheel vise arrangement at the front, that is what makes it possible to walk away from a lifted bike with a wheel out.
Two more items come as standard and both earn their place: a removable rear tire cover plate, which is what allows rear wheel and tire work without dropping the machine back to the floor, and a tool tray that keeps what you are using at platform height instead of on the floor behind you. Optional length and width extension kits widen the working area for ATVs, mowers and snowmobiles, and optional tie kits and a lifting jack are available on top.
Perfect For
- Shops that already run compressed air and would rather not add another electrical circuit and enclosure to a wet bay.
- Motorcycle service departments doing repeat tire, brake and chain work where the lift is cycled all day.
- Powersports dealers handling ATVs, mowers and snowmobiles alongside bikes, with the extension kits fitted.
- Home workshops with a compressor, where a proper lift replaces a paddock stand and a lot of kneeling.
- Anyone comparing this against the electric version: same platform, different pump. Choose on whether you have air.
What's in the Box
The lift and platform with its pneumatic pump, a removable rear tire cover plate and a tool tray. Length and width extension kits, tie kits and the lifting jack are optional extras rather than inclusions — tell us if you need them quoted with the lift so they arrive together instead of a week later.

Certification, stated honestly
We hold no published third-party safety listing for this model and we are not going to imply one by association. Be careful here if you are cross-shopping within the same family: a listing that covers an electric power unit on a different model says nothing about a lift that has no electric power unit at all, and it says nothing about the structure of either. Where an independent listing is a condition of your insurance, your fleet policy or your local code, ask us before ordering and we will find out precisely what paperwork exists for this lift.
Shipping and Delivery
The MC-1200P moves as freight within the lower 48. Freight is priced live against your delivery address at checkout, so the number you see is current rather than an estimate. Unloading is the customer's arrangement — forklift, dock, or warehouse collection — and residential deliveries carry a residential fee.
Open and inspect before signing. A bent ramp or a damaged pump fitting will not show through packaging, so check it with the driver still on site, photograph any damage and record it on the bill of lading at that moment. Everything a freight claim needs comes from that note.
Warranty
Our warranty claims page is where a claim begins, and we will send you the current warranty document before you order if the terms bear on the decision. The one rule that applies to every hydraulic product we sell: photograph a failed part where it sits and talk to us before anything is disassembled. A part that has already been taken apart is usually treated as modified, and a simple claim turns into an argument.
