The 15.2 m length provides sufficient reach to direct the water to a lawn area, garden bed, or storm drain without relocating the pump or using additional hose lengths.

Pond cleanout water is rich in dissolved nutrients and beneficial bacteria, making it an excellent supplement for lawns and garden beds when applied at a rate the soil can absorb. The 50 ft discharge hose lets pond owners direct this water to the garden rather than letting it flow uncontrolled into paved areas or neighbouring properties. The flexible construction rolls compact for storage and withstands repeated use across multiple seasons.

How to Use

Connect the hose to the cleanout pump's discharge fitting and route the free end to the target discharge location before starting the pump. Ensure the discharge point is lower than the pump to allow gravity to assist drainage. Keep the hose as straight as possible to reduce friction losses and maximise pump output during the cleanout. Flush the hose with clean water after each use and allow to dry before rolling for storage to prevent mould growth inside the hose.
