Pond and Waterfall Plumbing Fitting

The Atlantic Water Gardens 2-inch Schedule 40 adapter is the larger-diameter version of the AWG Sch.40 fitting range, used to transition 2-inch PVC pipe runs to pump outlets, skimmer connections, filter ports, or other water feature fittings at the 2-inch size. Two-inch Sch.40 pipe is the standard for higher-flow pond applications — typically used on the pump discharge of waterfall pumps rated above 3,000 GPH (11,356 LPH) where flow velocity and pipe friction losses require the larger bore for efficient operation.

Application

Use wherever a 2-inch plumbing run requires a transition fitting — connecting a waterfall pump discharge to a 2-inch PVC pipe run, transitioning to a flex pipe section, or joining a PVC pipe to a manifold or check valve fitting. The adapter uses standard 2-inch Sch.40 slip dimensions for compatibility with all standard PVC cement fittings in the same size class.

Material

Injection-moulded from UV-resistant, chlorine-stable PVC. Rated for standard residential pump installation pressures. Solvent weld with standard PVC cement for permanent joints; no solvent weld needed for push-on or union-style connections where applicable.
