Evolution Aqua PURE + is a live, concentrated gel based bacteria culture that is vital in the set up of new ponds.

When setting up a new pond it is vital to get the filter in the best condition to encourage the best start for the pond eco-system. The gel based solution is enriched with a selection of benefits that will help a new pond along its way.

The solution will stick to the filter media present in your pond filter, allowing the nitrifying bacteria it contains to colonise your filter faster.

The gel contains beneficial bacteria which, when in contact with the media, speeds up the maturation and helps to breakdown the harmful ammonia and nitrite present in the water.

This creates a correctly balanced system that is healthier for the fish and life inside.

The PURE+ Filter Start Gel is well suited for use in bead filters, particularly Evolution Aqua's K1 Micro Bead filters to speed up maturation from day one but is equally effective when spread on Japanese matting, conventional beads and other types of filter media.

1 Litre: Treats ponds up to 10000 Litres (2200 Gal)

2.5 Litre: Treats ponds up to 25000 Litres (5500 Gal)

Directions for Use

Shake bottle well before use, to ensure the bacteria has not settled

Unscrew the cap and pour contents of the bottle directly onto your filter media for best results (note- you cannot over-dose your filter with gel)
