The Galvanised Pair of Hooks on 100mm Plate is a practical gate-hanging component designed to provide a secure fixing solution for suitable wall plate installations. Supplied as a pair, each hook plate features a 19mm pin and is supplied with coach screws for installation.
The galvanised finish provides a durable surface suitable for outdoor gate applications, while the 100mm plate provides a substantial fixing base for mounting the hooks to a compatible wall plate.
Hook plates are recommended for use on wall plates where their fixed design is appropriate. Unlike adjustable gate post hinge fixings, hook plates do not offer the same scope for future adjustment, so the installation should be carefully considered before fitting.
Please note that in certain applications, hook plates can place additional stress on gate posts, particularly near stress relief cuts. Movement such as twisting can also be exaggerated compared with hook-to-bolt or hook-to-drive fixings, and the hook plates cannot be adjusted later to compensate for movement.
