The Oase AquaSkim Gravity is a surface-debris skimmer designed for pond systems where water flows by gravity to a below-grade filter or pump chamber. Unlike pump-fed skimmers that require a submersible pump inside the unit, the AquaSkim Gravity uses the natural head difference between pond level and filtration equipment to draw surface water through its basket — making it quieter, simpler, and less expensive to operate.
Low-Maintenance Design
The adjustable weir door self-levels with changing water heights, ensuring consistent surface pull even as evaporation lowers the pond level. The removable debris basket catches leaves, pollen, and floating organic matter before they sink and decompose on the bottom. Basket access is from the top, so cleaning takes seconds without disconnecting any plumbing.

How to Install
Position the AquaSkim at the pond edge with the weir facing the prevailing wind direction. Connect the outlet pipe to your gravity-fed filter or pump chamber located below pond level. Ensure the pipe run drops continuously — no high points that could air-lock the flow. Check the basket weekly during autumn leaf-fall and monthly during summer.
Ideal for naturalistic pond layouts, bog-filter systems, and bottom-drain installations where gravity moves water to filtration.
