Universal UVC Lamp Mount for All FiltoClear Gen 3 Wattages
The Oase FiltoClear 3400 / 5200 / 8200 (gen 3) UVC clamp assembly holds the quartz glass sleeve and UV lamp securely inside the filter's UV chamber. This universal mount fits all four wattage options — 18, 24, 42, and 60 W — so a single spare covers every FiltoClear gen 3 model.
Precision Alignment for Maximum UV Exposure
The clamp positions the quartz sleeve centrally within the water flow path, ensuring UV light reaches the full cross-section of passing water. A loose or broken clamp lets the sleeve shift, creating dead zones where algae spores and pathogens can survive. Replace the clamp if the quartz sleeve wobbles or if the mounting hardware is corroded.

Installation
Disconnect the filter from power. Remove the UV lamp and quartz sleeve from the chamber. Release the old clamp and install the replacement. Reinsert the quartz sleeve and lamp, ensuring the clamp holds them centred and firm. Restore power and verify the UV lamp illuminates.
Ideal for annual UV maintenance on any FiltoClear gen 3 filter, especially when replacing both the bulb and quartz sleeve simultaneously.
