This replacement brush roll (#75202-01) fits the Oreck U2000R-1, XL2100RHS, and U2000RB2L-1 upright vacuum cleaners. If you're finding that your Oreck upright is not cleaning as well as it once did, it might need a new brush. Before you change the brush roll out though, you'll want to check for clogs and other worn parts. You also want to check the bag to make sure it isn't more than 80% full. We also have bags and belts available, if you're in need of those replacement parts too.

This brush is included with the Oreck upright vacuum package deal. For other brands of replacement parts, please take a look through our large selection of vacuum replacement parts.

How to Adjust & Change Your Brush

To determine if the brush is worn, place a firm straight edge across the nozzle opening. To determine if the brush is worn, place a firm straight edge across the nozzle opening. If the bristles do not extend beyond the base plate, you should adjust the brush.
Remove the base plate by removing 5 screws. Remove the base plate by removing 5 screws. Then, remove the belt and brush roll from the housing.
Rotate both bearing assemblies at ends of brush roll. Rotate both bearing assemblies at ends of brush roll to show "old" and replace in the holding channels in the housing.
The bearing assembly setting marked 'OLD' has two bars. NOTE: The bearing assembly setting marked "OLD" has two bars ( II ) on the top of the assembly. The one marked "NEW" has one bar ( I ). When rotating bearings, make sure both bearing assembly settings are the same and face up when replacing the brush roll.
Reassemble the belt and the base plate and check bristle height above base plate at each end of brush. If a previous adjustment has already been made and bristle height does not extend above base plate, a new brush assembly should be ordered.

IMPORTANT: Unless the brush is worn as indicated above, both bearings mustbe in the new position. When rotating, bothbearings must be in the old position. Unmatched settings will cause damage to your machine.
