Sequence: 1. Connect Battery (+) and (-) first. 2. Connect Solar Panel (+) and (-). 3. Connect Load (optional). To disconnect, follow the reverse order. Ensure the battery voltage is at least 9V for the controller to initialize.

How do I know if it is compatible?

Yes, the VS2048BN is fully compatible with the EPEVER MT50 remote meter via the built-in RS485 communication port, allowing you to monitor and program the unit from a distance.
