Description
3 in 1 exhaust fans combine a light, a fan and a heater into 1 very handy unit. They are great for making your bathroom or ensuite warm, bright and working towards a steam free space. HOWEVER, they are basically a large hole in your ceiling with a tiny propeller attached. Without a fan cover, they let air move through even when they are switched off. Warm air escapes in winter, and hot roof-space air can push back in during summer.
To draught proof a 3-in-1 fan you need 2 components:
* an ADAPTER PLATE to sit on top of your fan, plus
* a fire retardant DRAFTSTOPPA unit.
We have handily combined these into the 3 IN 1 EXHAUST FAN DRAUGHT KIT.
You will need to arrange an electrician to rewire the switch so that the fan is on when the heater is in use. The rewiring diagram to follow is in the kit. Once rewired, the fan will always operate when the heating is on.
