Description
Built to last, the Camp Corner Piton has a U shaped shaft to provide additional holding force when held in a crack of seam.
Essential protection from Camp, the Corner Piton has a revolutionary design form which makes it stand out from many other styles. Most pitons rely on compression of the metal and leverage from directional pull for their holding power. The U shaped shaft for the Corner Piton from Camp increases the holding force by creating spring tension when the piton is driven into a crack proportionally smaller than its width.
Features
- Dependable and tough climbing piton
- U shaped shaft increases overall holding force by creating spring tension
- Material: Chromoly Steel
- Length: 11cm
- For 15 - 25mm cracks
- Made from NiCrMo steel, blanked and bent.
