CRL Prima Series Pivot Hinges are specifically engineered for use with 5/16" to 3/8" (8 to 10 mm) tempered safety glass, offering a diverse range of application options. Pivot-type hinges come with numerous advantages, including the capability to support the majority of the weight at the bottom and the option to be set back from the wall, providing ample space for towel bars and other fixtures. The Prima Series Pivot Hinges are self-centering and equipped with four springs, ensuring maximum retention strength. It is also possible to order the optional Cat. No. P1VP1N 5-degree Pre-Set Pivot Pin Sets separately. Furthermore, there are Pre-Set 5-degree Hinge models available. The adaptable PPH01 Model can be used with our Deluxe Header System for shower enclosures that do not extend all the way to the ceiling. The PPH06 Model is only compatible with our EZ-Adjust Header System and includes an adaptor used with the EZ-Adjust Header System.

Additionally, the hinge can be confidently mounted at the top or bottom using the attached U-Clamp, offering a reliable alternative to traditional Header Systems. The attached U-Clamp shares the same design and profile as the Hinge. This hinge series is patented (Patent No. 5,297,313) and holds a CE Certification. It can also be confidently mounted at the bottom of the door and adjacent panel for symmetry. The product is suitable for use with 5/16" to 3/8" (8 to 10 mm) Tempered Safety Glass and is stocked in several popular finishes, with custom finishes available.
