Daiwa’s RZ500 spinning reel is designed for compact ultra-light performance at a budget friendly price. Perfect for backpackers or ultra-light anglers, the RZ 500 features a solid aluminum folding handle for convenient storage.
The rotor and body are constructed using light and durable composite material. Improving its overall feel, the RZ 500 incorporates Daiwa’s infinite anti reverse to provide quick engagement of the drive gear and drag system. With 4 stainless steel bearings and 1 anti reverse roller bearing, the RZ 500 dishes out smooth, lightweight, and reliable performance.
PIN THROUGH HANDLE
An inline, pin-through handle assembly makes handle removal and installation simple and quick, with the handle inserted through the reel then secured into place with a threaded screw cap.
INFINITE ANTI REVERSE
Daiwa's advanced system that limits rearward backplay handle movement to almost zero for solid hooksets with less shock to the reel. The result is the elimination of handle slap-back and the unwanted release of line.
COMPOSITE BODY
Light, strong, and inexpensive, lightweight composite is a corrosion free material ideal for entry level and budget reels.
